Permission to translate pamphlet for professionals?
Hello, I wish to translate the pamphlet for professionals to Dutch, as there is a need for it. I have access to some healthcare professionals, so I could raise awareness of CGAA with local healthcare professionals. However, I'm not certain of their grasp of the English language. This is why I am ask...

[WIP]CGAA book
Hello, I am Xander, the person who has lead the work on our book (Computer Gaming Addicts Anonymous). I've stopped working on it, as I've recently slipped and I'm going to remove the google drive. However, I am not going to destroy all the work. Here's the document in its latest state (as of 30-10-2...

Statement on vaping, smoking and eating on screen
Eating, vaping or smoking on screen can be triggering to some. Personally I also feel it's disruptive behavior (not really being present at the meeting). Same goes for running other programs on devices (gaming during meetings, or watching youtube during meetings).

Re: Reading of the 12 steps
The 12 steps are the solution to the problem of computer gaming addiction we have. Meetings are not the solution, meetings are where we meet and connect with one another. Part of the reason people stay away is that, in their perception, we don´t have a solution. Now, in the last EGGA business meetin...

Zoom issue (games in zoom) :(
Here we were, thinking we were in the clear regarding all the gamified stuff and now Zoom decides to introduce the capability to play games in it. Still, the admin needs to perform some actions, before this is possible. However, this still doesn't sit right with me. What if a meeting chair, who secr...

[idea]Website committee
As far as I'm aware there's currently one person maintaining the website. He does everything regarding that website, and does an excellent job in doing so. While that is fine at the moment, perhaps it's of worth considering creating a website committee who's sole responsibility is to manage the webs...

Readings of the 12 steps and 12 traditions
Hello, I made a couple of pdf cards for the 12 steps and 12 traditions.
There's a little blurb at the top of them. I copied the text directly from the website.
This is for those meetings that wish to have a reading. I'm willing to update them or change formats, if it helps with convenience.
